Vision

The WGBiH is committed to a free, united and democratic Bosnia and Herzegovina under the rule of law with human rights, justice, dignity and equality for all citizens.

Mission

The WGBiH is a pragmatic, inclusive and transparent organization that is dedicated to a fully democratic, secure, and sovereign state of Bosnia and Herzegovina with territorial integrity, ensuring equal rights for all citizens.

Patrick McCarthy

WGBiH Coordinator

“The Working Group began with a vision for Bosnia and Herzegovina as a  secure, democratic, and free country.  One that provides opportunities for its people to prosper and thrive. Where the rule of law is the means for resolving conflicts.  Where the structures of separation and discrimination are dismantled so that all Bosnians and Herzegovinians can take part fully and equitably in the country’s social, political, and economic life. Where all ethnicities and religions are celebrated and respected, but where there is common Bosnian citizenship as the basis for holding political office. Where everyone in BiH can look to the future with hope and confidence.

Making this vision a reality requires focused and organized work by those who are ready to commit to sustainable action with and on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We invite you to join us!”
